Eric grew up sailing in the waters of Southern California.  He began teaching sailing while in high school and quickly grew to enjoy teaching as much as actually sailing. After becoming involved in racing with his sailing team at Bowdoin College, Eric returned to ocean sailing, becoming involved with ActionQuest and Sea|Mester in 2009.  Eric is a US Sailing instructor and holds his IYT/MCA Master of Yachts 200 ton license.
