Growing up on Florida’s waters, Boomer sailed at an early age. After graduating from the University of Florida, he set out to work in the sailing industry. After a few years, Boomer discovered his real passion was teaching aboard sailboats. He joined AQ in 2002 and is a captain with Sea|mester. Boomer holds an MCA/IYT International Master of Ocean Yachts as well as a US Coast Guard Masters License. A PADI Scuba Instructor and avid windsurfer, he enjoys passing along his love for the ocean to his shipmates.
